Starring: Tom Hanks, Jean Reno, Paul Bettany, Magneto from XMen...oh!! the guy who played Magneto... and Doc Ock from Spiderman
Oneline of the Story: Christianity, Jesus, Priory of Scion...all about Myths....


Just like the book. I have read the novel and found it interesting. The movie is fast paced and most of the actors have played their part well. Not sure of Tom Hanks though. Though he is the lead in the movie, his scenes do not register in your mind. Saw it about 12hours back and I dont recollect any breathtaking performance from him. For eg: I still remember him sitting on the bench, his expression when he sees his kid, etc in Forrest Gump. Green Mile, when he looks up at Michael Clarke Duncan...etc...here I cudnt even recollect something of that sort. Probably because I read the novel before I saw the movie.

It leaves u wanting more, I wud suggest u watch the movie just for the hype. If u have read the book, have no expectations cuz it warrants none in the end.

Paul Bettany from Wimbeldon, Notting Hill (hes the nosy roommate of Hugh Grant) fame, portrays Silas, "the Angel". He handles his role really well, the intensity can be seen on his face.

Ron Howard who gave us movies like Cinderella Man and Beautiful Mind disappoints. Guess, he cudnt have done much with the script and all. However the movie is fast paced and u dont feel bored at any point.

I never thought I'll go through such a horrifying experience in my life. Yesterday morning was one of the most forgetful days in my life. Though it was a horrendous, horrifying, horrible, hair raising and all the words starting with H signifying terrifying experiences. Been quite sometime since I blogged. Wanted to goto the Blogcamp's Unconference at Tidel Park. Then thought what will I do there, a big question mark...so didn't Wanted to blog something here, but couldn't think of anything so copy pasted my old poem.... Movie Reviews - Sivi, Katrathu Tamil, MalaiKottai, Cashback, You Kill Me, Lucky You, Breach, Hot Fuzz, Wild Hogs, I think I love my wife

Movie Reviews: The order of this list does not have any meaning. The only reason Sivi is Top of the list is because it's one of my nick names :) Sivi New Faces, an interesting story line and some extra-ordinary sound effects. I went in to this movie instead of Marudamalai for the sole reason that this movie had my nick name as it's title. Only after some time did I realize that this movie is a Thriller. Apart from all the cat calls and the general movie histrionics that can be expected from a crowd that comes to a theatre like Sai Shanthi, this was a decent movie flick (Probably thanks to the only girl in the theater, who was also really good looking, who happened to sit right in front of me :D ). One can watch it once in the theatre just for the histrionics of the movie going crowd.
